There are some bizarre if not crazy laws around the world. Let me caveat this with first stating, I use the term “crazy” loosely and only relative to the laws and freedoms I have in the US as an American citizen. Don’t get my wrong, there are a number of aspects of the U.S. that do not sign with the term life and liberty for all. This is especially true as an African American woman and being subjected to – if not witnessing injustice of fellow Black people in the good ole USA. However the below laws may surprise you, my fellow traveler, because they sure as heck surprised me. I’m sure each country has a reason for the laws they put in place that may not come intuitively to others. Unfortunately, ignorance of the law is not an excuse. Let me clue you into a few places and the laws you should be aware of in case you decide to visit.
Switzerland 🇨🇭
-Need to go the the bathroom in the middle of the night? You better flush in the morning. That toilet time can land you in a cell.

On the flip side, if you forget to flush that toilet in Singapore? Youuuu gon get fined and jailed with the look of disgust on the officers face.

-I love to dance just as much as anyone. Don’t do it in the street. You will be detained.
LADIES: also, be modest in Public. Cover your head up or yes – you can be arrested.
